Pancakes
I showed up at the Kiwanis Pancake breakfast 9-ish. I planned to be a bit earlier but I had a few things I needed to do and saw some people to chat & catch up with along the way. The breakfast was delicious as usual. There was a pretty good crowd there, but the line for food was short.
service with a smile.
and good music to enjoy pancakes, sausage and company with. They even came up with a use for those left-over pancakes they froze “a while back”…which are now dried out and hard.
Toss the pancake in the box.
It’s been a sunny day and warmed up to 63. I spent a little time pulling weeds. The garden is too wet to do any real work, but I pulled weeds along the edges. Pulled more weeds from the herb bed. It’s looking pretty good. There are a few bare spots that I’ll need to fill soon. Then I can mulch it good and maybe not have to worry about weeds.
It took a while hours, but I got a big batch of photos uploaded and sent off to Snapfish to be printed. I was able to take advantage of their 500 prints for $45–including shipping. That’s how far behind I let myself get. I need to spend more hours going thru and burning CD’s of photos and then remove them from the computer. That way maybe I can keep future photos organized, printed & CD’s burned in a timely manner. At one time, I had a good system figured out.
I got my rotisserie chicken cooking away. Definitely mashed potatoes and gravy. Salad. It will be a good meal. Tomorrow morning I might try to duplicate Awful Annie’s Breakfast Mess. Tonight I plan to enjoy a quiet evening at home.

Couldn’t eat the pancakes without sausage.
