  • Waiting for snow

It's been 40-ish and drizzly all day.  Now we are just waiting to see if there will still be moisture when the temperature gets below freezing tonight.  No accumulation of course.  The ground is too warm.

The muffins were a big hit at Chat n Chew.  I'll be taking the left-overs to work with me tomorrow.  People in the office will appreciate a home baked treat on a Monday morning.

This afternoon I wrapped gifts and did some reading.  Listened to Christmas carols and enjoyed the decorated Christmas tree.  I especially enjoyed this song.  https://soundcloud.com/jaime-green-1/happy-merry-joyful#play   Also did laundry and the mundane house keeping chores that must be done.  Ironing might happen later...or not.

Baked tilapia, peas, & couscous with pickled green tomatoes for supper. I tried a grill rub, but it was a bit overpowering for fish. It would probably be good for grilling beef or pork...as in outside on the grill.

Today is the first day of Chanukah.  2nd Sunday of Advent.
